This antenatal and postnatal bundle offers gentle, proactive support during pregnancy and the early weeks after birth, creating space for parents to feel held, understood, and supported as they transition into parenthood. Across four sessions — two during pregnancy and two after your baby arrives — we take time to think together about your experiences, your hopes and worries, and your developing relationship with your baby.
Antenatal sessions offer a compassionate space to explore feelings about the pregnancy, including ambivalence, previous loss, trauma, or uncertainty, while gently supporting early bonding and attachment. We focus on helping you think about your baby as an individual and explore simple, relationship-based ways of connecting during pregnancy, alongside emotionally informed birth planning where helpful.
Postnatal sessions focus on getting to know your baby — understanding their cues, communication, and individual rhythms — and supporting the ongoing process of bonding and attachment as it unfolds over time. Through observation, reflection, and shared curiosity, we explore the ‘dance’ of attunement between you and your baby, building confidence in reading and responding to them in ways that feel natural and supportive.
This bundle is grounded in infant mental health, nervous system awareness, and relationship-based care, and is particularly helpful where the transition to parenthood feels complex or emotionally challenging. My aim is to offer a containing, non-judgemental space that supports connection, confidence, and the development of secure early relationships — at your own pace.
A Relationship-Based Approach
My aim is to offer a containing, non-judgemental space that supports connection, confidence and the development of secure early relationships — at your own pace. This work is grounded in infant mental health, nervous system awareness and occupational therapy principles. Rather than prescriptive advice, the focus is on building your confidence in your own instincts and in the unique relationship already forming between you and your baby. We think together, reflect together and move at your pace.
This support is for any parent or parent-to-be who would value a thoughtful, nurturing space during this significant transition. It may be particularly helpful if you are experiencing:
